Project Background
This project is the Gearbox Bearing and Precision Components No. 2 Steel Structure Workshop for Luoyang Xinqianglian Slewing Bearing Co., Ltd.
To support business expansion and meet production requirements, the company cooperated with the Zhengzhou Weilan Steel Structure Engineering Co., Ltd. team in December 2022 to construct a steel structure workshop, aiming to improve efficiency and adapt to market demands.
The construction period was 3 months, and the project has now been successfully completed.
This steel structure workshop is designed for gearbox bearings and precision components production. The building measures 152 meters in length and 162.5 meters in width, with a column spacing of 8 meters, a single span of 30 meters, and six connected spans, covering a total area of 25,016.82 square meters.
Quality Control
Planning Phase
During site planning, Weilan Steel Structure deployed a professional engineering team of over 30 engineers, conducting scientific and precise on-site investigations and measurements to provide Xinqianglian with a detailed and reliable planning solution.
Design Details
In the design stage, Weilan created a rational layout based on the operational needs of the gearbox bearing and precision components project, including production areas, storage areas, office spaces, equipment rooms, and clean zones.
The layout was adjusted and optimized according to the project’s scale and requirements to improve production efficiency, working environment quality, and employee welfare.
Construction Phase
During construction, the roofing system adopted 0.6 mm thick Type 820 color steel sheets, with the roof designed to support photovoltaic system installation.
The wall panels used 50 mm thick polyurethane rock wool edge-sealed panels. The workshop is equipped with a 10-ton overhead crane with a lifting height of 6 meters, and includes gutters and parapet walls.
Post-Construction Service
In the post-maintenance stage, Weilan provides a 1-year free warranty and 5-year follow-up service, with 24-hour on-site response within the province and 48-hour response outside the province, ensuring worry-free and attentive service for Xinqianglian.
Through close coordination among teams responsible for civil works, steel structure construction, water and electrical systems, and exterior wall works, Weilan Steel Structure Engineering delivered a distinctive steel structure workshop for Xinqianglian.
